CEEC’18 will be held in at the University of Essex in Colchester.

Colchester is Britain’s oldest recorded town, with a rich history dating back over 2000 years. But it’s not just history. Colchester today is a thriving, modern town with great visitor attractions, including the family favourites Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle, as well as fantastic places to eat, drink and shop. Poised at the gateway to East Anglia with picturesque villages and only minutes away from the coast.

Accommodation

Also situated on the Wivenhoe Park campus is Wivenhoe House, Colchester’s four-star luxury hotel. Surrounded by glorious parkland, yet only minutes from Colchester. Wivenhoe House Hotel combines the romance and charm of an eighteenth century Grade II listed house with all the comforts of contemporary living.

Check-in time is 3:00pm, our check-out is 11:00am and breakfast is served between 7:00 and 9:30am. However Wivenhoe House would be delighted to store luggage during the day if needed.

Parking is free, as long as the guest register their vehicle license with the Reception on arrival.

Delegates of the CEEC conference will be able to take advantage of the internal rates given to University of Essex staff members.
